Morning (Day 3609)

Awake at stupid o'clock this morning because my beautiful wife was off to catch the boat south. After breakfast I took Sigyn out a wander and was lucky to get a gap between heavy showers.
I was back at the bathroom refit at 730 and spent a while getting set up for fitting wet wall round the bath. It went reasonably well and I had it finished by early afternoon. I decided to get the shower fitted before a massive clean up of the bathroom. With everything cleaned up I got the wet wall sealed, so the customer can use her bath or shower over the weekend.
Late in the afternoon I got a call from the spinal unit in Aberdeen to discuss the results of my scan. They have decided to give me an injection in my spine. There is no indication as to whether it will be a single injection or a course of them. They have no idea when it is likely to happen because they are passing the buck back to the local hospital. I suppose I should be happy I am getting some form of treatment but I had been hoping it would be surgery.
