Daffodils
I was awakened by the sound of an incoming text. Jamie wanted to let us know Luca William Gaines arrived at 4:10 AM, weighing 9 lb 15 oz and 21 inches long. Mother Lauren and son are doing great. He even provided photos of that chubby cheeked cherub. Unlike his siblings, Luca has a full head of dark straighten hair like his Mom. Hubby had already left for 7:00 Mass. He wanted to drop off our donations for the nuns in case we go to Mass near Brooklyn’s up town soccer games this weekend. That was our first good news of the day. Our BIL completed repairs on the front spigot with no issues. More good news. I cleaned flower gardens while hubby helped him. It was time for a bite of pizza, shower and drive to pick up Brooklyn. On the way, Abby texted to say her boyfriend Devyn may have secured a job for Skylar’s boyfriend Trevor. Devyn works on power lines and they always have openings as the company is expanding. That is an answer to my prayers. Trevor needs a career path. More good news. While Brooklyn was in the stylist’s chair, hubby texted to say a new Silver Sienna XLE will arrive at our local Toyota dealer on Monday or at least one day next week. Hubby was able to get a better deal than any of the other offers. I will have a low payment after my deposit. That is unbelievable good news. They may even give us an acceptable amount for my old car because they hold their value and easily sell. After Brooklyn was finished our stylist said she had time right then to do my annual cut. Great news. I had taken photos of daffs in the front garden but wasn’t happy with the busy background. These are planted in a back garden next to our grill. I like this shot better. I am starting to get nervous with all these positive vibes today. We are going to Parker’s 6:00 pm lacrosse game that’s over an hour away. Maybe we will grab a fish sandwich on the way. Sure hope the drive and game work well also. It has been one of the most successful days we’ve had in a long time. Wishing you a fun and successful weekend. Stay safe.
