I love the fact that the river is still used for commercial traffic. 

I went for a walk at lunchtime today, I needed to get out plus I wanted to make a couple of calls. Sadly one of them resulted in hearing some sad news about someone who's been in my life for about 50 years, and one of my Pops' best friends. He has a very poor prognosis for an untreated skin cancer that's now spread to his spine; strangely you can't cure cancer by eating vegetables and praying to the moon.

I was quite upset when I got back to work. Hopefully it didn't come out in my afternoon's calls although I did remove the addressees from a grumpy email I was writing to make sure I didn't send it without reviewing. One for Monday I think.
