Daffodil Street

A windy day, but mostly sunny in the morning.  Showers started late afternoon, continued throughout the evening.  

Back to working on my own today.  I've been delivering wheelie bins in Lerwick, Tingwall, Brae, Waas, Trondra and Bigton.  A scary moment driving home, brake failure.  I managed to crawl to the garage, hopefully get it fixed over the weekend.  A surprise birthday party for friend Jacqueline this evening, but I'm up early tomorrow, I couldn't stay long.  Walkies with Sammy, then early to bed. 

A fine day out for delivering wheelie bins, and another day choosing my break locations.  A quick brisk walk after my sandwich, and enjoyed the spring views, even though it doesn't quite feel like spring yet.  The daffodils are starting to look bright and cheery, and somehow standing up to the winds.  Looking up Lochside road, Waas (Walls).
