It doesn’t seem long ago that we were watching the boats being hauled out of the water for storage on the hard for winter. This weekend the boats at the sailing clubs in Emsworth were being lifted back into the water. Yesterday the boats were lifted into the water via the huge crane you see in my blip. Today it was the turn of the masts to be lifted off the quayside and secured onto the yachts. The quayside was shut to pedestrians while each mast was lifted so we stood and watched the spectacle before continuing with our walk.

Other than dog walking, I’ve done some gardening. It was 18 degrees in the sun and not being used to such warm temperatures, I found I tired rather quickly.

I’m feeling ready for bed quite early, even with the clocks having gone forward.

Hoping your weekend has gone as you wished.
