Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

Our oldest friends visit!

A lovely warm sunny day. Just nice to be able to be out in a tee shirt. Archie and I were very interested in the daffodils, for different reasons of course. I practised my squatting and tried to pick the best one of the best daffodils in the sun.

There has been a bit of activity on the home front, as our visitors are due. General tidying up and dusting in corners. Also, the path, for it must be pristine for visitors. Actually, no. The path is pristine regularly.

I took my £6 slippers/Ugg boots back to charity shop and suggested they change the size. And double the price. I must take a photo of their new window, for it is fabulous. A cowboy theme this time.

Archie had a bath and a brush up. Then he and JR went out for a walk. I hope he keeps clean.

Visitors arriving late afternoon, and we'll see them briefly here, hopefully for tea (a meal). They're not staying with us, but just across the Meadows, and they also have family stuff to fit in.

I think a bubbly will have to be cracked open. We haven’t seen them for YEARS!
