Wheel back chair

Another morning shadow in the kitchen - this time a bit later and the sun is at a different angle.
My mum said my grandfather had wheel back chairs, in fact, in the one photo I have of him, he is sitting in one. Apparently they were very valuable and some years ago they were sold at auction and each of the four siblings got about £2000 if I remember correctly.
These, on the other hand, I found in a skip round the corner a few years ago. They were perfectly good, just being chucked out in a house clearance. They were more than happy for me to take them. And seeing the shadow reminded me what a nice shape they are
