Bluetit

Today's the day ..................... to house hunt

Caught this little bluetit emerging from what he might decide is just the place to start a family, now we've reached that time of the year.  What he probably didn't know though is that, for the last three years, it has been the chosen residence of Mr and Mrs Nuthatch.  

Now, the Nuthatches are a very belligerent pair - and don't hesitate to move birds on from the feeders, when they inadvertently try to eat the same birdfood.  The way that they will react, if they find 'someone sleeping in their bed' - doesn't bear thinking about.

I hope it doesn't all end in tears .....................!
