A half day in the garden

Official first day in new job! Started with some meetings, plunged straight into a zoom with a lot of new faces.  After lunch i spent a bit of time in the garden, looking at everything that was there, watering and trying to plan a bit.  So much to do of course, isn’t there always.  I liked this combination of Thalia daffodil and purple fritillary that I remember planting last autumn.  fritillaries seem to have staying power here, every one I’ve planted out has come back but i can’t remember where they all were so am not sure how much they have spread.

At 6 I had to drag myself to London for the night, staying in a Radisson Blu off TCR 

For old times sake I went out to have some dinner at Wagamama which was actually delicious.
