Mother's Day Tulips

The supermarket in Welshpool must have over-stocked.   Passing through, on Tuesday I picked up some for Ruth (and some for C&I whom I called in on soon after.)   Looking lovely today which would have been Mum's 97th birthday.  She would have loved the vibrant colours.

A day with Ruth.   We did a fair bit of work in her garden, tidying and sorting, weeding and pruning ..... and belatedly harvesting a huge surplus of carrots, very much last year's success story here.   Meg had a walk, Ruth went shopping with a support worker and I prepared notes and pictures for two glaze workshops I am running at pottery on Sunday and Monday.

After an unplanned explore of Ruth's sitting room yesterday, Bryony, the rescue cat, is currently on round two.   The very anxious cat that hid under her bed in her crate two weeks ago has already found her purr and is visibly more relaxed.   No physical contact yet, Ruth is letting her set the pace on that but she's clearly working her magic :-)
