So lovely to see these again.  Once they come out I always feel there's no stopping spring and summer ;))  I've added a close-up of a single bloom as an extra.

Did any of you call these 'kingcups' when you were a kid?  The name seems to have gone entirely out of use.

Just to let you know, I've now put a note up on the Challenges page about WildFlowerWeek25, so there's no stopping that either!  WFW25_01 begins on Monday (7th) and runs until midnight Sunday (13th).  You're welcome to put in more that one entry if the mood takes you, also as I say in the blurb, if any of you would like to host a week - or multiple weeks - do please let me know.
