Little troopers

Full blown cold going on today. It probably didn't help that lovely bestie and I were up to all hours yesterday evening with an extended video chat and that my Sudafed didn't do very much to help me sleep. By the end of a long afternoon meeting which I couldn't duck out of because it was appraisal time, I had a raging headache and couldn't think straight. So I cancelled my next meeting, ducked out of the rest of the afternoon, ate some pain meds, sat in the sunshine for a bit and then went to bed for an hour and a half.

Feeling somewhat recovered I took a slow walk to the shop to buy some chocolate and while the sun was out photographed these tiny little flowers peeping out from the gaps in the concrete. After making tea I watched a video about the Ferguson tractors that went to the South Pole in 1958. Those old Fergies were little stalwarts.

Supposed to be an office day tomorrow but will see how I feel in the morning.
