GGround hopping

The Northern Football League is 125 Years old this year and part of the celebrations is a series of ground hop days.

This morning's game was in Carlisle and this afternoon was at Whitehaven.

This is Penrith (in blue) v Newton Aycliffe (red).

For less than the price of one professional football match you could have had 3!

Tonight's crowd of 380 is around 3 times the average. And it was the same for the other clubs involved today.

I met wonderful people who had travelled from as far afield as Sussex, Hampshire, London and Shropshire to take part in the day.

This morning I went for a run to clear my mind a little. I ran twice as far as planned and it was great.

Have a great Sunday
