Hellebores

Kate introduced me to hellebores and now I have them and see them everywhere.

The azaleas have begun to bloom. It is gloriously beautiful. Of course, even people who don’t have allergies are feeling it but oh it is beautiful.

I have registered a domain name and someday will successfully have email in the new company name. I don’t know that we’ll make a single dollar but being proactive is definitely an upper, a very needed upper. 

Trump withdrew support from Ukraine for a bit, leaving an opening. The press says British Prime Minister Starmer is leader of the “coalition of the willing.”  Shifts in global influence. Bronwen Maddox, director of the foreign policy think tank Chatham House, said "Trump has brought America's allies closer together.” And "The US is no longer a reliable ally."

The Duke of Sussex (Prince Henry) met war victims in Ukraine on Thursday. He visited the Superhumans Center, a clinic which rehabilitates wounded military personnel and civilians. The clinic provides psychological help, reconstructive surgery, and prosthetics.

It’s gotten hard for Russian regiments to attack with a full complement of equipment. This assault group didn’t have enough mine-clearing gear: rollers, plows, and explosive line charges. Now, Russia has heavily mined Ukraine. Ukraine has laid its own mines. Both of these have slowed Russia’s invasion. Outside Andriivka, without mine-clearing gear, they all stuck to the asphalt road, all closely together, making an irresistible target. Ukraine hit the lead vehicle. None of the others could move, and everyone ran for their lives as Ukrainian drones destroyed the remaining vehicles.
