I’ve been doing clever stuff. Finding out how to run a script on google sheets to carry out a mail merge. And it worked! Personalised emails to everyone in the club asking them to send over their insurance cover. That’ll rattle a few bars amongst the backsliders. No insurance, no lift-in.
Then I did more clever stuff at the boat – the engine bay strip light just plainly isn’t working. Confirmed. But there had been a change in the weather and I’d a Sunday paper to digest. Off to the lookout awhile. Those dastardly Chinese want to close our one remaining blast furnace! Parliament has been recalled as focus groups have said that’ll play well. But at heart it’s seems it’s all because our energy prices are totally out of line with anyone else in the entire developed world. Close down coal, close down nuclear, rely on imported gas and the wind, when it blows.… yes, I see. Shouldn’t we debate that instead?
