Now, as I see it......

Lincoln Cathedral

We decided to drive up to Lincoln today for a look around.  We've only been there once before and that was a flying visit several years ago.  The plan was to have a look around the cathedral and then explore the town, and maybe have a lunch somewhere before heading back to the hotel.

The cathedral was wonderful; a very impressive building dating from the 12th Century; this was the view looking up at the ceiling in the chancel.  However, it was cold (as most cathedrals tend to be) and by the time we came out there was a freezing northerly wind blowing.  We felt absolutely perishing cold so instead of the look around we just had a coffee and cake in a local tea room and headed back to the hotel.

Still cold but out of the wind, we had a walk around Hambleton Village when we got back where I took the shot in the extras of the back of the hotel from the gardens.  Oh, and I've added one more extra; 'Lost in the cathedral'!
