STAR employee

Today I have been helping Ann at 'STAR linen hire' which is where she works.

Ann's main job at STAR is to run the office but this morning at 7am she said, 'Molly, we'll go for your walk up to STAR because I want to swap all the washing machines around'

So that's what we did. At 7.15am Ann was emptying & filling washing machines & dryers. After that we walked home and I had to stay 'home alone' while she went off to do more work.

This afternoon we went down to the Wharf because it was 'Harbour Day' and there were loads of things going on.

Then when we got home Ann gave me my dinner and said, 'Molly I'm going back to work. Do you want to come with me? I need you for guarding duties'.

Normally I'm not allowed to go to work with Ann because nobody wants collie dog hairs on their nice clean linen do they?

Ann said, 'I'm going into the ironing room to iron. You can either snooze in the office or lie by the front door. But you have a job to do. You must alert us to danger if anyone is approaching.'

I did my job really well. I had a little snooze in the office and then I lay by the front door. When a strange car drove into the car park I did my most ferocious barking to alert Ann to danger.

Ann is really pleased with me. She is going to buy me extra special treats tomorrow.

So, Mon - Wed Ann is working 9am - 9pm and I'm spending the days with my dog sitters.

I'm going to have loads of fun. Not sure if Ann will?!!!!
