Where have all the flowers gone?

Wind and rain have brought an end to the beautiful display of blossoms on the cherry trees in the little garden.  But cheery green leaves have reclaimed the tree and it will just get greener as the days go on.

I had a visit with the sports medicine doctor this morning, because there have been some changes in the way my lower leg and foot feel as well as in my gait.  He's ordered an MRI, referred me to surgery to investigate if there is some minimally invasive procedure that could help, and referred me for an ankle brace that could help me feel more secure as my spine continues to narrow.  Of course there were no MRI appointments until June 3, so I'm hoping my financial assistance will be renewed so I can afford all this.
