WELCOME BACK TO THE HEDGEHOG FAMILY!

Hello Lovely Blippers,

There was great excitement at the HCBs’ house this morning - and not just because Mr. HCB was going to cricket again, but the Hedgehog Family are back!!  

As you all know, Hoggy, Spikey and Porlock all hibernated in the Autumn, but today, they have come back to us - although with the grey and dismal weather, we think they may have thought they had come back a bit too soon!

However, because Mrs. HCB had gone into town to do some shopping, we had a quick look around and guess what we found - a very large box of chocolates!!  Now you all know that Mrs. HCB is a chocoholic, so we decided the best thing to do to help her was to eat most of the chocolates so that she isn’t tempted - but we did notice some were already eaten, so the HCBs obviously got there first.  I’m sure you would all agree with us, so here we all are sitting near and ON the box.  Of course, Hoggy, Spikey and Porlock have pride of place and we are sure they will enjoy some of those yummy chocolates.  We think we might leave just a couple for the HCBs and they may not even notice that there are only a few left!  We did notice that the Best Before date is 15th April, so they do need to be eaten!

Of course, you all know how kind it is to share things and particularly chocolates - although we have had to convince Mrs. HCB that this is a good thing to do - but today she has no choice really - so we will enjoy them and be kind to one another whilst doing so.  

We read a great quote the other day which said “In a world where you can be anything, BE KIND!” How true is that?  If you can’t say a kind word, don’t say anything, and if you can’t do a kind act, then go and think about why you can’t do it - and then perhaps you may find you can!  You know it makes sense.

We wish you all a very happy weekend and we are now off to have a wonderful party with Hoggy, Spikey and Porlock - and we think not only will we have chocolates, but also hot chocolate with marshmallows - you know how much we all enjoy that.  If you are anywhere near the HCBs' home, do pop in - we can't guarantee there will be many chocolates left, but it would be great to see you!

P.S.  Porlock just whispered to us that he is SO GLAD to be back!

P.P.S.  Just realised that Mrs. HCB now has 4,500 entries on Blip - must have another chocolate or two in her honour!
