Durham Cathedral

Having spent yesterday at the Ashes test match we decided to " detoxify " this morning and visited the Cathedral. Founded in 900AD as a shrine to St Cuthbert. Not many folk about at 10am but managed to visit when the choir were practicing - magical ++ and more tuneful than the Barmy Army yesterday. My second visit to Durham - lovely old town with lots of good pubs and restaurants. Will definitely be back .
My 365th blip. Taken me 20 months to get there but enjoyed every bit of the experience. What started as a bit of fun has developed into a great chronicle of what I've been up to for the last 18months or so. Going to keep it going and try and improve the quality of my blips if I can.
