Arctic circle adventure

Tonight is our last night of the tour. Tomorrow we head home.

We have covered 3363 miles from Stockholm to Oslo where we are tonight. The journey from Bergen was 7 hours by train and once again the scenery was beautiful. I will post on flickr when we get home but had to photograph through the train windows.

We are staying in the Thon Opera which is next to the Oslo Opera House. The hotel has a musical theme in keeping with the name. As you can see the pillows have music across them as do the cups and saucers.

After our meal we watched a firework display over the opera house. We walked over to the roof of the opera house when Mr G wasaccostedinterviewed by a camera man doing a program for Norwegian TV and asked what he thought of the fireworks.
