Early Morning Nectar Dive

scratch, gobble, scratch.


I was sitting on my back patio with a cup of coffee and my laptop as I both checked some things onthe 'puter and stalked early morning birdies.

I really hadn't expected to see any hummingbirds in my back yard since my red yucca, which is usually a very attractive plant, was a dud this year.

I'm thinking of putting a feeder back there. I found one that claims to be bee and ant proof and I got some advice yesterday as to how to keep the bats away at night.

I have through September before they all migrate south for the winter. Two days. Two plans. I'm on a roll! :-)

Going to try to find that prickly pear jelly, too. Make that three plans in a row!
