Edited living

"Edited living". That's what the magazines call it. Or decluttering. Or having a 'good chuck out' if you live Oop North. I've always been a fan of the practice and living in a terraced house with a one year old, we seem to just keep accumulating stuff. So this afternoon we got ruthless in the kitchen.

We put everything (old kettle, mugs, coffee pot, plates, recipe books and the like) on the wall outside our house with a little sign that said 'Help yourself' and within an hour the whole lot had gone. Amazing!

Angus was off today so this morning we had a run out to Ripponden to a restaurant that my cousin works at. It was amazing. Gorgeous interior and stunning views over the rolling hills. The food was cooked by my cousin's husband and was also brilliant. I ate fish and chips to die for!

Back home for some edited living, beers and a night in with Breaking Bad Season 5.
