Life of a bubble maker

Scottish museum exit hall

Woke up late today and managed to get nothing done in the morning. Left the house just after 2.15 to go up town and try to take some photos of the fringe. No real success.
Three people left work yesterday and a few of us had arranged to meet at Deacon Brodies for a few farewell drinks. Not sure who decided on one of the smallest pubs on the Royal Mile during festival time.
Left there after 5 pints to meet J, who had been seeing one of her old work mates and had her haircut.
Had some not great noodles in a place near the Scottish Museum as we had tickets for they’re after hours event.
Never been in the museum before and it does look good.
There shows were
Russian mimes Confused in Syracuse. Not the best thing to try and understand after 5 pints
Japanese circus troupe Company Man, who we managed to miss as we were having ice-cream downstairs.
Korean physical theatre group A Romance and Oxford's fabulous female a cappella singers In The Pink, who I snapped a quick pic of walking up the Royal Mile earlier in the day.
Also there was live music from clarsach player Jennifer Port.
Great night out. Will have to keep an eye out for their other late night events later in the year.
