Day 8 Road Trip

This is Hwy 150 in Utah. It goes from Kamas UT to Evanston WY and it goes past the highest peak in UT (Bald Mountain - of course). We went in 32 miles and then back tracked. (That is Haynes Point in the distance. Here we are at about 11,000 ft elevation.) It was surprisingly busy with traffic - and this was a Thursday. At our turn around point we saw Mirror Lake. On the way up my wife saw a moose in the water of Lilly Lake.

Damn. I've never seen a moose. Maybe I never will. It was not there on the way back.

PS: I incorrectly labeled the photo from Day 2 of this trip. It is (correctly) Snow Canyon Park located just west of St. George, Utah.
