Pool Re-do Finally Finished!
I knew when I looked out the window and saw the pool company truck that we were finally about to cross the Finish Line with the pool replastering job. Just a few little things had needed to be finalized and it had taken 2+ weeks to get a worker here to finish the job. The whole thing started back here. I've tried not to bore blippers with the step-by-step process. Going to family camp for a week back in the end of June, slowed the process down. We thought they could replaster while we were gone. Not even. It would need water immediately and 3 days of serious tender loving care. So the replaster happened Monday, June 29 and water was added right away.
So now it is time to complete the yard with some hardscape, a barbeque, and a few plants. When we purchased this home and were handed the key in August of '94, we knew the pool would eventually need some work. So after enjoying it for 15 years, we've now done the job, and we've already enjoyed it immensely. Would anyone like to swim?
Even Bob dog is glad it's done! That's it for tonight from fun-ville.

P.S. Yesterday's palm tree was removed because it was up against the neighbor's house and about to do damage.
P.P.S. Okay, all the Carole King fans -- tomorrow and the next day listen to her song (The Last Night of July and) "The First Day of August."
