For no real justifiable reasons whatsoever, I've bought a new 18.5mm lens for my little Nikon V1. I got my grubby paws on it today and so far am quite impressed by its image quality. Especially when on its widest aperture.

This is a natural window light portrait of my wife, taken while waiting for our tea to arrive. So more of a lens test, than a serious attempt at being artistic!
