Village Idiot

Despite the serious nature of my research, I was unable to gain admission to this establishment today. Although I do live in a village, I failed to meet the other criterion.

Instead I pursued my enquiries at the Beer Bistro, as recommended by a fellow Blipper LocalFoodLover via Veronica, for which many thanks. I had some Cameron's (no relation) Rye Pale Ale from Ontario and Blanche de Chambly Wheat Beer from Quebec. And an omelette.

Earlier in the day, the Art Gallery of Ontario was most impressive. The Ai Weiwei exhibition was superb, with some fun exhibits, as well as others that were more serious such as this marble surveillance camera. The gallery also had some great Canadian paintings, such as "Lake and Mountains" by Lawren S Harris as well as a massive collection of Henry Moore sculptures, such as "Draped Reclining Woman."
