Alford Windmill

This windmill which is still in working order and mills flour, is the place I go to for my flour for breadmaking. The windmill has 5 sails but today there was no wind at all and so no action but plenty of lovely 4 grain flour. It is only about half an hour from home through the Wolds which are currently full of action with the harvest in full swing. A lovely warm day today - still plenty of butterflies and dragonflies around.
