The longest in Prague

As well as being the location of a beautiful church and just generally being a lovely square, Namesti Miru is home to the Czech Republic's longest escalator. According to Wikipedia at 87 metres it is also the longest in the European Union - that's your trivia for today :) If you don't walk up or down it, it takes more than 2 minutes. So if you're planning to ride the Metro from or to Namesti Miru, bring a book.
