Dramatic sky

Another dramatic sky, this time at about 5.30 in the afternoon facing south over Bute. I was struck by the layers of cloud, suddenly parting to reveal the blue that we can sometimes forget is always there. The rain that fell all night and then intermittently through the day was almost over - and now, as I post this at 7pm, the evening is sunny and the clouds white.

But any deluded shepherds rejoicing in last night's red sky must have been pretty soaked ...
