An ancient style

The stile is made from Red Sandstone and has been here for many years judging by the amount of wear. Almost half of the step has been worn away. The sandstone is very attractive but it is quite soft. The church where I blipped our MP last week is made from it. The Tower needs tens of thousands spent on it as parts are crumbling away.
