Kayaker

I.e. someone who talks a lot while paddling their canoe.

I went to Deerness looking for migrant birds. The only new one for the Deerness list was a whinchat; I also saw ravens, a hen harrier, snipe, wheatears, hundreds of golden plover etc.

But the highlight, soon after photographing this kayaker and his pals, was when I saw an enormous dorsal fin- got the binoculars on it and saw the tail fin too- it was a basking shark. It's only the second I've ever seen.
