A case of mistaken identity?

Nothing much to report today, except I met my YWT friend at Sunk Island to join her as she tended the sheep there ...

While I was there I sat in my van and watched this very busy fence for ages - yellowhammers, pied wagtails, yellow wagtails and many swallows were using it as a perch.

This baby swallow was being fed by its mum - but it looked a bit surprised when this pied wagtail approached - as did the wagtail!
