First Class Arrival In Mahon

Nice surprise at Gatwick this morning.

We flew out on the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Lots of leg room, personal tv screens which also operate the air con, lights, games etc and high headroom. Lovely!

Arrived at hotel and our room has a fantastic terrace overlooking the marina, entrance to the harbour and the land on the other side, plus Isla del Rey. A large bottle of cava on ice was awaiting us in the room which had to be drunk before exploring the area of course! Went for a pizza along the harbour front and saw the MSC Sinfonia leaving. Lots of large motor yachts, mostly Sunseekers moored in the marina.

Found a supermarket and stocked up on cheap wine and beer, ha ha! Oh yes and water.

Had a look at the dinner menu for this evening - looking good!
