Hanging basket

Coming off the winter season, it's always good to approach spring with great anticipation. Sometimes searching around my home I come across an unexpected sight.
This hanging basket is a good example, as all winter long it appears quite dormant and very little showing from it to enthuse me.
Come September and a completely different feel for it comes about, as the flowers suddenly appear.
It's not one of my favourite plants and is often neglected throughout the year but I'm still rewarded as you can see.
