Vista

Yesterday's vistas were of bush and birds up at the Zealandia sanctuary at Karori , today's were a lot more urban.

A visit to Te Papa (The Museum of New Zealand) for an Impressionists art exhibition and then a wander along the waterfront for lunch at Vista cafe. I was taken with the way the cafe name is reflected on the pants of the two men in the window.

The exhibition was great - an interesting history of impressionism, shown through the works of artists such as Cezanne, Monet, Manet,Pissaro, Degas. I have been introduced to a new artist - the works of Pissaro fascinated me.
