White Balance

Purely a record shot (a record of the day and a boring one at that - the image, not the day, marginally....)!

Finishing off the presentation for Tuesday night and I thought an explanation of using a grey-card to get in-camera grey balance would be a useful tool to demonstrate the value of getting WB at the first stage in the process.

Under daylight from the window and using Auto WB, these cushions came out a horrible purple/blue colour. A shot of the grey card to set a custom WB and then this shot with the card in shot.

Just hope the talk on Tuesday goes as smoothly.
