Music City

We have had a wonderfully exhausting 14 hour day in Nashville, too much to describe in anything other than a list - sorry.

Ate breakfast in Mitchell's Deli, East Nashville - delicious.
Johnny Cash museum - my favourite bit of the day I think.
Spotted our favourite names on the Country Music walk of fame - JC and DP.
Checked out the alternative music scene on Printer's Alley - blues seems to be the order of the day here.
B tried on cowboy boots - who knew there were so many to choose from.
Took photos of a very friendly police officer having his shoes shined - nearly a blip.
Ate lunch at Pucketts, feta cheese and strawberry salad - weird.
Took the free bus to 'two old hippies' shop in the gulch - cool.
Squeezed into the Bluebird Cafe to see Emily Hackett amongst others singing in the round - goosebumps.
Back downtown for more great live music at Tootsie's Orchid lounge - dungarees.
More music everywhere.......beginning to feel a bit punch drunk and as though we're in a theme park.

This is not the sharpest picture I took today, but it is the way I will remember our time in Nashville, and represents how all the famous country and western stars began; playing in bars on Broadway for tips - joy.

Ate pizza back at our 'home' for the night - bed.
