Flowers

Every Friday my lovely husband buys me flowers. Not for any particular reason, just its the end of a week and he wants to welcome me to the weekend. I love them. Last Friday, I thought I'd Blip my weekly bouquet, but struggled to capture the beauty I could see with my eyes.

Over the weekend, bro-in-law Andrew showed me how to select a colour on my camera and this morning I took a few snaps of my flowers. OK, perhaps I need a bit more practice, but as a starter I'm fairly pleased with the ourcome.

Today I travelled to Shirley for a course on targetting L6 readers. Despite having a hair raising journey where I missed the exit from the M42 and ended up on the M40 by mistake, the course was inspirational.

I've spent the rest of this evening developing a resource around the superbly written "Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins. I'm at Chapter 4 and looking forward to following this up during the week.
