Islamicrophone....

......taking advice from Sollergirl, and influenced by this and this, Owen and I went to the Mosque Kitchen for a delicious lunch of rice, chickpeas, chicken and bread; washed down by lashings of ginger beer (slurp).

After, we popped in to watch prayers which can be an amazing spectacle with 2000 blokes crammed into the main hall. However, we were distracted by a camera crew filming for the Mosque's efforts to reach out to the non-Muslim community through a festival exhibition. Omar and Nial interviewed Owen on his favourite exhibit; naturally it was the cartoon on the computer and the hairy microphone cover. Interesting afternoon and top nosh.

Off to the Book Festival this afo' followed by a show by this lot of unhealthy specimens.
