Mates.....

......throughout the weekend, Owen has played with Joe, a lad from another family using the centre. They've played in the water, in the woods and in the mud and have had a great time together. Joe even came out with us in our afternoon sail on Loch Tay; Nancy took the tiller and main sheet from me; I was pretty surprised at how good a sailor she is, but I suppose she's from salty old sea dog stock.

This morning was spent gorge walking in the chilly burn water. The kids loved hiding behind the fast flowing waterfalls and wiggling up through the holes in rocks made my thousands of years of river flow. I even managed to squeeze my 'wide shoulders' through all of the gaps.

All in all a superb weekend spent together in the Southern Highlands; the weekend starts here.
Edit: It just ocurred to me that if Nancy and I were a company, we've just been for a team building weekend!

Looks like we missed a cracking event on Friday evening and a blipmeet at the beech.
