Alan

Most Friday nights apart from holidays or rare events I help out at a local hospital radio station -Mayfield Radio- where I do some presenting. I've been involved for over 40 years now.

Our Friday team consists of Anne (30 or so years) and Alan (10 or do years). Alan has been blind from birth but with technology and a prodigious memory for music he is an active participant and presenter. Like many people he freezes a bit when he knows a camera is being pointed at him but this captures his ready smile.

It is very therapeutic at the end of the week catching up on news, playing some requests and having a trivia quiz. The pressures of the week fade away and by 22.30 the weekend can start!
