Yes !!
A lovely day – starting in St Ives.
The boat trips to Seal Island (The Western Carracks) were running, so we finally went out and saw them! There were a few just lounging on the rocks, and one or two in the water - some very pregnant females, and these two sleek beauties!! It was wonderful to see them!
Later we did a bit of shopping before eating lunch by the harbour – fish and chips!!
I’ve been after a bronze hare for ages and had seen the perfect little one in a shop in St Ives a couple of days ago. Unfortunately, when I went to buy it today, it was gone. :-(
BUT while I was shopping with my mum, Mr K went to an art gallery and bought me a painting of a beautiful spring hare! Thanks Mr K!
After lunch, we went on to Porthtowan beach and walked around the rock pools before climbing up the coast path for a lovely walk. We finished the day in St Agnes sitting outside with a nice cold beer…
Tomorrow we’re getting up at five to give Alfred a last run on Carbis Bay beach before leaving Cornwall. The week’s gone by so fast – but we’ll be back soon! :-)
