Lunch in Lenno

Today we had lunch in Lenno at the lake front, but not any old lunch, a proper two course lunch in a proper restaurant. We had a friend come to visit so there was a bit of a celebration as we had not met up for quite some time.

After Lunch at the Hotel Plinio we returned to the apartment where we enjoyed a tart our guests had brought with them.

The Hotel Plinio is one of several hotels and restaurants around the lake named after Plinio as he had a house on Lake Como in the Ancient Rome time. Maybe one day there will be a Hotel Cluny and Hotel Branson as George Cluny has a house nearby and Richard Branson has a house in Lenno.

Weather was very warm again today even though there was a bit of a haze as can be seen from the photograph.
