Lido di Lenno

The photograph today is taken from the outside lounge area of the Lido di Lenno where we went for an apertivo after an exhausting afternoon watching the Grand Prix. I suppose Ferrari will think they did well to come first after Vettel, a result otherwise known as second.

Lunch at the trattoria in the piazza today, continuing with great hardship our research into somewhere to go for lunch on Christmas Day. Spaghetti alla vongole followed by grilled steak made a pleasant appearance before the walk back to the apartment to watch the race.

So all in all a pretty energetic day with two walks to the village. Regrettably after having had a desert at the trattoria I didn't think I was quite ready for an ice cream.
