Dog in the Fog ..........

............. ................. and a little damp too!

Dawn today was unbelievably different to yesterday - I couldn't even see the bottom of the garden from the bedroom window! Foggy foggy foggy!

This date last year there was a stunning sky!

Got my camera and set off across the fields at about 07.00, surprisingly mild so in my jeans and a t-shirt & didn't even take a jacket ..... Camera School homework this month is a full length pet portrait - stationary or moving - outdoors with clean background (and all the given settings) ..... I had it in mind to get Shadow with a nice misty background - NOT. A. CHANCE.

The clean background was virtually impossible with horizons, hedges, crops, grass and tractor paths;

He refused to sit and stay - each time I bobbed down to get at eye level he got up and walked toward me;

All the active shots were either blurred or unclear (the mist) and, in the only decent one I managed to get, I'd chopped his feet off!!! Drat!

Then we saw hares in the distance - I didn't get my longed-for "hare" shot (wrong lens) but he was off like a bullet - surprisingly he lost interest when he lost sight of them and came lolloping back. I gave up on the homework brief for today.

Damp Fur .....

Now all the fog has gone, the sun is shining and the sky is a beautiful clear blue with not a cloud in sight (and it's only just after 9.00am)

Have a great Sunday if yours is still to come and, if it is over, I hope you had a lovely weekend.
