A good day!

Well today was the day. Green card interview day. After collecting up all the required original documents we headed downtown to the federal building. After gmaps directed us to the tax office and going through security there we realized we were in the wrong suite.

A quick hop across the road and through more security we were in the right place. 15 min early for our appointment and for once federal government was ahead of time and we were seen straight away. A few easy questions and raising our right hand we had success and I was granted my green card!

A celebratory lunch at panera bread and then off to work. Got a few things tidied up and a few things underway but pretty relaxed as the boss was away. Spent the remainder of the afternoon applying for more jobs in the hope of getting a bite.

Returned home to find an email from one of the jobs I applied for a couple of hours previous to have a phone interview. At last I know I am along the right lines whether it comes to anything or not. Spent a lot of the evening swatting up on the company and their products (blipped) - nowhere better than Wikipedia to start!

Double header 9-11pm of football tonight. Make or break for the title hopes as we sit in second by 1 point and I belief one of the games is against the leaders.
