Another emergency blip tonight...

It transpires that when left to my own devices I work even harder than usual... not a single shot taken again today!

This is one of my hihat cymbals... the textures come from the shaping process, where small dents are hand hammered into the cymbal after it's been lathed. All of my cymbals are made like this, meaning that they're all unique (in both look and sound), and they've got slight imperfections, which means they've got some amazing 'sweet spots' and make them real, characterful instruments in their own right.

If you catch the light on them just right, they really set on fire! :)
