Perch in the pond

A lovely morning for an early walk in my new boots. There were 6 of us and two dogs and it was our usual Thursday morning circuit of St Ives culminating in a duck feeding session at Coppice Pond.

As we walked around the back of the pond someone spotted the gulls perched on the posts creating an interesting reflection. I chose a more distant shot rather than a close up as I liked the trees reflecting too and the framing of the surrounding foliage.

The boots performed well - more testing tomorrow!
